My (other) Eritrean graduation

May and June are the two months students take their exams in Norway. Graduation usually ends on the 17th of May, which is also Norway’s independence day. I have a total of 4 exams this year where 3 of them are written and the remaining 1 is an oral exam. I had my written German exam on Tuesday, I will be taking my written Norwegian exam on the 28.05 and my written exam in English literature on the 03.06.  Anyway….. I had my other Eritrean graduation last night in Stavanger. Having a ceremony for eritrean university and upper secondary school graduates on the 24th of May, has been a tradition for many years. The 24th of May is also Eritrea’s independence day, which means a lot of drinking, speeches and political talk.
